Much was shown after the game as Ken had words to the Hawks players ,here he explains why.
I don't blame him Ginevan gets what he deserves.www.theroar.com.au/afl/video/throw-somet...hawks-spray-1381128/

Ginnivan is a lowlife who looks a right fool now after that Insta post.

No need for Hinkley to stoop to that level and go rub Jack's nose in it. You end up looking just as bad. Always stick to the moral high ground.

I reckon the odds on Ken becoming Wet Toast's next coach just shortened considerably...

Hawks lost, Ken took a cheap shot, Hawks sulking and trying to take moral high ground. Mitchell fuming is hilarious so all up the result exceeded my expectations.

Hodge and Lewis were well and truly up in arms defending all Hawthorn morals etc, well did they forget their perfect coach when he mimicked the syringe at Essendon players ?

Jase Burgoyne kicking a goal in the 4th when Ginnivan should have been marking him was also a nice moment.

It's emotion, it's theatre, it's all pretty harmless in the scheme of things. I like Jack Ginnivan bringing some colour to the game - although, the odd show of humility could do wonders - and don't think for a second he thinks a bit of repartee is not expected, warranted or even invited.

Ken wasn't sticking up for his players, though. Just reminding people that if they throw social media water balloons they need to be prepared to take a water pistol squirt back in the face when they fail to follow through.

Sicily's frown showed he wasn't sure what the hell to do, so he just mouthed off with the fallback of "I'll always defend my team mates." If he'd handled it better he'd possibly be able to claim some kind of moral high ground, but no. He remains at the bottom of the teacup that the storm is in.

Stupid kid shot his mouth off, now he cops it back. No sympathy for him or his awful club. We have seen other coaches and ass coaches do worst this season.

I'm amazed that a post on Instagram "see you in 2 weeks" has triggered such an emotional outburst from some people, seriously who really gives a toss.

Hinkley may have acted spontaneously but he was well within his rights to pull the airplane mimic and remind Jack Ginnivan that he Is immature, arrogant and entitled. His coach showed similar qualities as a player. Guess he sets the standard inside the club. Eventually, the AFL-capitive media will tire of this “Hollywood Hawks” rubbish and turn on them. I’m looking forward to that day.

I think it’s sad that a 60 year old thinks it’s ok to berate a 20 year old.

They all need to grow up.

absolute storm in a tea cup

Ginnivan has shown everyone, for some time now, he's a bit of a self-centred tosspot. Hinkley let a childish upstart get under his skin and ended up acting like someone 1/3rd of his age.

the AFL media circus, the ouroboros that it is, will lap this up for weeks.
