The 1st of April 1995 is our 30 year anniversary on running out to play the first game against Richmond which we lost by 5 points at the MCG in front of Richmond massive crowd of 26,000. Not 1994 when the admin and sales department tried to entrance supporters and players to the club.

I arrived in Oz on 1.1.95 went to a few games not knowing anything about the game, became a member during that season.
I feel the same, should be 30 years from our first playing season, not when the club was formed! :)

because there's no random element to the fixtures, it's all planned out of AFL HQ to maximise viewing numbers & advertising revenue and protect stakeholder interests... with a few principles thrown in about top 8/bottom 4 to give it a wafer thin veneer of "fairness"
