We are going Sat morning ,around 10,30.
We will watch the Captains run and then have a cup of tea, then the photo.
Hope we can take our own photos too,as with the boundary rider invite photos a def no no, something to do with the tv rights.
Anyway will let you know how it went.
There must be 30 yr members on here, if so hope you are going should be fun.

I was invited but stopped going to Optus games a few years ago (don't ask or you'll have to cope with an old man rant) and there was no option of just attending for Captain's Call and photo so I politely declined. But I hope you all have a great day.

DS i'm as curious as Jezzaargh,and i'm sure so are plenty of others.
But you do realise the photo op etc is tomorrow ,you dont have to attend the game ,it's viewing the captains run then a cuppa and probably party pies etc then the photo, after then you go home or wherever you want to go.

There were 2 parts to the invite email.
The first part was about the Captain's Run, nibbles and photo on Saturday.
The second part was the on-field recognition on Sunday before the game. This is what you needed a game ticket for.

And yes, the stadium is in a carp position.

Living here in Melbourne, I'm envious of the opportunity.

Of course, I probably wouldn't attend anyway, since the club has incorrectly labelled me as a foundation member. I joined in 2002. I've stopped trying to tell the club to correct it.
