Well everyone what a great experience that was.
We had to meet the club rep at 5,and while we were waiting.MJ,Crowls,Sandi all were standing near us, so my Grandson got photos and sigs from them all, he was so chuffed, great guys we chatted to them for a few minutes, before we went in.They weren't part of the group they just came to watch the game.
So we walk around the boundary and stop where the players eventually did their warmups,geez they are big guys when you are close up.So a bonus Sonny was delegated to accompany us for the walk, what a great bloke had time for everyone chatting away ,autographs ,for our group and heaps of member hanging over the fence.
So i thought why not and sidled up to him and said ,look Sonny i wont tell anyone what you are about to say but is Harley a dickhead or what ,well his words i was surprised to hear,
He said he had a chat with Harley just the other day, and he is a great young man, totally not like what is portrayed in the media.
He is a very talented kid, and does not deserve the critism and whatever goes out there about him.
Well that changes my perception of the kid, but i'm still glad he got found out a couple of times tonight.
So coming from a legend the kid isn't bad.
So we then formed a guard of honour as the players ran out lots of hand slaps, those bloody flame throwers are hot.
All in all well worth the time .If anyone gets the chance do it .
