The eGulls' loss tonight gave me so much delight. To have their fans' hopes rally, their team overcome a sizeable deficit and only to be deflated by a very dodgy umpiring decision and then defeated by a solid North team goal; well that brought me so much joy. Enormous joy.

Hi Frankmac, I’ve always felt it’s the series of free kicks that builds the momentum, in the GWS game, Hawks were not called holding the ball, and there were ball ups which didn’t ease up the pressure which eventuated in scores. They were hot on GWS holding and Jacky boy won the Selwood-Shuey medal.
