Morgan will have accurate numbers. But I'm thinking collectively teams are running upwards of 300 km in aggregate at speed per game.
Say like most Ross Lyon coached teams they kick 8 goals a game. That means on average they are running at good pace for over 35 kilometres before they kick the ball through the goalposts, which are located approximately 85 metres from where the ball is bounced.
They've run halfway from Adelaide to Melbourne to kick 8 goals. Makes you wonder how smart any of these coaches are, doesn't it?
