I disagree. Liam is a small forward. He is no robust enough for the wing position. He is 100% comparison with Bobby Hill. You watch next year he will play as a small forward.

Well St Kilda are interested in recruiting him as a future replacement for Brad Hill with Hill being his mentor. He certainly plays a lot more like him than Bobby Hill, Charlie Cameron, Lachie Schultz, Toby Greene. Tom Papley or any other small forward I can think of.

Corporal. Maybe we were always playing him in the wrong position. Did we ever actually try him as a half forward / deep forward pocket. He is not comparable to the big bodies small forwards you describe but more of a light bodied, fleet footed half forward.

Yes we did. His first couple of seasons he was tried as a small forward/half forward. It wasn't really until this year with Acres leaving that he was being used consistently on the wing.
Also he's actually bigger than at least Cameron and Hill and taller than Schultz and Papley but not as heavy.
