I think GWS really have shown what you can do with unique colours like orange and purple. Our marketing knobs tell us that the purple colour is the best thing going for us. So why make it such a deep dull innocuous shade of purple? Love this bright orange.

What about something lighter and brighter something that really stands out as a purple? I quite liked a shade we had, very similar to the Cadbury chocolate wrap. Bit lighter and a bit of shine.

I say let's just Suck it up and go Barbie Hot Pink and a Pink that will make a highlighter blush. By the time they tone it down on game day for TV it will be the purple we all love. In the mean time we can support the McGraw foundation, get amazing sponsors and make the world a better place. The AFL can jam the clash strip cause lets face it -Pink clashes with F-all. Job done. A few years ago the AFLW team was fined $10,000 for wearing the wrong jumper. I'd be onboard with the club deciding to get a bit crazy and experiment with game day jumpers, 20c per member is a pretty reasonable price.

The purple has always been great as a marketing point but the overall vision of the purple along with red and green is what gave our on field colours such a point of difference to everyone else and didn't our guys look great when they donned them in the recent retro rounds. We should go back to them as our regular outfits.
