I’m a little confused by Liam Henry’s selection. I haven’t heard anything that suggests string performances in the Peel team and his lack of physical presence and forward line pressure might be a weakness against the Blues. Given Banfield’s strong recent form I hope he isn’t getting axed to fit Liam in.
(And before the pile-on, I hope Henry becomes a regular inclusion but is he ready yet?)

Thanks RM. Good to hear that assessment. It will be interesting to see if it carries through if he gets a game. Hopefully he will take his chance and provide another selection headache for JL.

(As an aside, the selectors must be taking the mickey with those positions if they play as named. One of the shortest half forward lines in history beside one of the biggest full forward lines we’ve ever named!)

Check out the this video from the 1:50 mark, Henry kicked goal of the year. He played pretty well last week and is noticeably larger and covering the ground a bit better. His disposal is fantastic so hopefully we can get the footy in his hands as much as possible.
