He said nothing really - are you talking to the supporters or just trying to hoodwink the media?

Frad I dont think he said the Capt would be back next week. He said next week they could put a timetable on it.

Which brings me to why they couldnt put 1-3 weeks or something similar on Fyfe. Whats with the TBC all the time, its really frustrating. Even if its 26 weeks, just say it, you can always adjust it later. I get it that if you havent done the MRI or the scan yet because its early in the week and you dont know the diagnosis but once you do, every Dr worth his salt can have an educated assessment as to the prognosis of the healing time.

No injury return regardless of cause is ever actually confirmed or a fait a compli, its always dependent, so why give us the totally useless "to be confirmed"?

It will be ridiculous if now we are looking potentially at a player going from TBC on Monday, to "yeah he is going to play in a few days time" on the Tuesday.
Can I repost this under the irrits thread?

Yeh you are right Rhufus, the way i said it ,he would be playing next week.
I wonder if he would have a run in the 2's? It's not like it has been a three week hammy injury.

I can’t see Fyfe playing in the 2s. It’s a bit like the Tiggers bringing Dusty straight into the 1s after his recent break.

Walter ,Dusty's was brain related ,something mental.
Fyfey's been paying all these specialists ,well someone has ,a lot of dough.
Having most of your body reconstructed is a tad different ,than having a holiday.

FFS Frad, I don't think anyone taking time out from the game or anything else, with mental health issues, is having a holiday.
You obviously don't know anyone who's had to deal with anything like this, or you wouldn't be saying something that is so insensitive or uncaring.

Even the Optus Stadium chip vendor provides an estimated time on when the next batch is ready when asked. So what, they're never right, but at least the kid makes an effort.

Yeh mate it looks a bit harsh, but there seems to be a lot of this stuff going on.
i've suffered from PTSD since i was in the Army, my nightmares are with me every day,so i think i can relate to it,i know it's a different medical conditiion, ,but mine will never go away.
I've lived my life as best i can.The holiday bit was a bit harsh so sorry for that.

And its a good point, not that I think it will happen about bringing Fyfe back via the Magoos. In the ideal world thats exactly what you would do. Give him limited game time at Peel, say 10 minutes per quarter and build him to 15 minutes per quarter the following week, then get him the hell in the Seniors. He hasnt played in 6 months, hes still not going to be ready even after two weeks at Peel but you could live with Fyfe at 70% and building.
