Having listened to the game on ABC* and now having watched the replay, I'd give a RL-ism "the competition is actually pretty close". Apart from MELB/NM/WCE obviously.
GC17 played bloody good, especially their back six. We should look at that Collins guy.
Our guys seemed a step behind. We seemed to be phoning it in from the coaches box too. JL's presser comment that he saw it happening in the first quarter had me looking hard for changes in the 2nd and 3rd before the panic set it in during the last.
Walters and Swita clearly missed in those conditions.
I enjoy Treacy who is gonna tear a game apart when he connects it all together (he's only at game 19/20? people).
* I don't mind Acker for expert comments - he was a bit fan-boi about Chol and Miller, but that's OK, I too actually enjoy other really good players while watching my footy.
