I hope Fremantle can get Clark for a second round pick, but I am curious as to why his value would have fallen much more than the pick 15 Geelong gave up for him. They have been very strong in the last two years, and he has been in and out of the team, but he is still only 20 and Geelong would argue he is tracking just fine. I can see them playing hardball on this one and can't really blame them. In which case Freo may be better off waiting till he is out of contract by the end of next season. The risk with that is that he has established himself in the senior team by then and doesn't feel the need to go looking for senior opportunities.
