TOPIC: Port Adelaide in strife

I’m not sure if this is a case of “dumb, dumber, dumberer and dumberest” or just a simple sense of celebrity entitlement.
I’m guessing these guys might be a bit peeved if they are sent into hubs because of a new outbreak!

That seems like it's outside the purview of the AFL and a Port Adelaide/Swimming Australia/South Australia police thing.

That’s an interesting and valid point Shane.
I guess it comes down to understanding what the AFLs limitation are (which I don’t). Past examples seem to show that they cast their net far and wide when it comes to “brining the game into disrepute”. Scuffles in night clubs have resulted in AFL fines and club suspensions so I guess this example could be seen in the same light?

The AFL don't get involved in night clubs scuffles. The player's club deals with that unless it gets into Ben Cousin's territory.

If they were travelling for a game, or it was a condition of a state that the AFL had an agreement with to allow the football to continue then it would be an AFL matter. This seems more like Port Adelaide don't want to do anything, so the AFL might have to make them.

You know Woosha's and Nessy's definition of a nightclub scuffle - anything that does not involve the discharge of a firearm.

They're young men, they're entitled to go out and have some fun and do what young men do. Anyway, it was just a small fire and they helped put the person out.

The impromptu time trial down the Mitchell Freeway at 3am shows just how dedicated this group are.

Disagree! Kerr is not that young anymore.

Were they doing research planning a Ben Cuzzy river escape option?

Mitch has a bottle in his hand, he'll be let go.

The bloke in the denim jacket will get a $10,000 fine, and the Port players will get let off with a warning because they dropped their masks to tell Mr Denim he was breaking the rules, they might even get mentioned in the New Years Honours list for their community services.

Over 50 in a denim jacket and open neck shirt ... deserves a $10k fine as a minimum.

Give us a break, Morgan, there are 1 or 2 ex AFL players who are well under 50, who look a lot older than that bloke. If he's been playing with matches, and training for the Applecross Triathlon, he may well be 30ish.

Oh, and I just noticed Blondy in the top right of the pic, what sort of fine would you hand out to someone who is prepared to drink Southwark without their mask on???
