I have a Bosche washing machine, 16 years old and still doing the job. It sounds like the Hindenburg crash in the final spin cycle but still cleans away the grimeys like a Howitzer preparing a Belgian town for the Wehrmacht.

Going wildly off topic here, I know, (sorry about that, it is a bad habit I know), but are yous aware of the saying; "Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics"? I prefer to go by what I see, and to me, Treacy is a big hard leading forward who demands the footy. His teammates are realising the demand bit now, so he is getting the ball instead of seeing other players get it. His opponents are realising the big hard leading bit and not always getting in his way, which means there are no packs to crash, he will survive the jungle of AwFL.

It's not about crashing in willy-nilly. for example I noticed him more than once nudging several opponents in a pack without giving away a free kick, to enable Darcy to come in and take a clean mark. He seems to be able to tell the best point of impact to do this role. It is what good teams do, and he has good size, balance and awareness. Only 18 too, you have to be excited; he could become anything.

We had a Malleys Whirlpool for 30 years. Only got rid of it when it finally gave up after being used almost every day.

I was over at Colonel's house the other day enjoying a Stones Green Ginger Wine and he's still got those two rollers hanging over the sink!

The kitchen sink.

Stones Green Ginger Wine-I still remember the heartburn from drinking that.

The Colonel was always good for a nip or two of sherry after a game or two of war simulation when he got out the toy soldiers.

Your consumption of Stone Green Ginger wine can be used as a measure of maturity. At a young age it is cheap plonk that you guzzle to get pissed, you then become a wannabe young hipster who selects it as an ingredient for your snazzy sty fry, then you reach a level of maturity where the mere thought of it passing your lips makes you feel nauseous.

That twin roller set-up over the Colonel's sink does double duty as a pasta roller.

So I'm straying off-topic here, but on Treacy, him demanding the ball and team-mates honouring it is an upgrade on Lachie Shultz, with all due respect to Lachie. It is also allowing Henry to be more creative in space behind.
