Karma for a team that has perfected the head flick and scoop handball. (Plus it’s hard to feel sorry for a coach that is so animated in the box whenever a dodgy free kick is awarded against them)

Didn't Geelong benefit from an incorrect free in the fricken' goal-square to win a game in Rnd 1 or 2?

EDIT: I remember now, a not-awarded HTB in the goal square.

As a child Scotty loved the swings ... not so much the roundabouts.

Terrible decision nevertheless.

Agree. Especially when you think about the number if 10m passes that are paid. It’s a tough gig but that decision seemed well outside of the normally acceptable margins of error (especially when you have some known measurements like the distance between goal and point posts to use as a guide.)

Imagine that the derby had a crowd, and that Kennedy took such a mark in the dying seconds, and it wasn't paid. No, I can't actually imagine that.

He was calling "not fifteen" before the ball reached half of its final distance.

Baldy strikes again. This guy is an absolute peanut. He was involved in the Sirengate game all those years ago when he didn't hear the siren, he was the one who got all worked up when abused by a spectator for his follicle challenged appearance and the guy who didn't notice that Lachie Neale was bleeding profusely and now this. He's an absolute tosser who doesn't seem to respect the players and shouldn't umpire next week. We also get Margetts after numerous abysmal performances so I wouldn't hold my breath.

His name is Nicholls I think - he's had a horror run of it with the whistle this year. I watched a game with The Yeti a couple of weeks ago and he was like a wedgetail on a rabbit with that bloke.

I thought the ump was actually saying 'touched ball play on'.
