Young 9-11 weeks for a hammy. That deserves a mention in the Guinness book of records. Did he rip it off the bone and leave it on the ground?

A knee directly into the hammy will do a lot more damage than a tear.

Stephen Hill finally gets a mention. Do we have any clues as to what is going on with him?

Hoping to get traded to StKilda so he can play with his brother.

Hill TBA. At least he is still on the list.
It would be great for him to make it back out on the field this year although will probably retire you'd think. Deserves a decent send-off

I'm surprised he has not gone onto the long term injury list. Has anyone sighted him rehabing?

Tough job for the selectors deciding which of the big names to bring back through Peel or the main side. Lobb, Logue, Tucker and Sturt are players you all want in the team, but is it too many players to be trying to find form instantly?

Logue played for Peel last week, he can come in this week to help Cox in the backline, I imagine they’ll want to manage Lobbs minutes and the Darcy/Meek combination is working for now, so he can come back via Peel, Sturt and Treacy get another week in the main team to try and build some form/chemistry with the other forwards.

Logue in to help out Ryan and Cox. Ryan has received some heavy knocks lately and while doing an amazing job in the circumstances is punching above his weight and size in the back line.

In my view Luke Ryan hasn't recovered from that knee in the back from the Slime's Brander in the preseason - you can see it when he runs and tries a long kick. I assume the medical staff feels as a Doig medallist he will recover by playing each week, but it doesn't look like it from my perspective.

Have heard the oval at Pingelly is a dung heap and Freo holding players back from heading south.

Polly, it might be the case that JLo was hoping Ryan could hold on until reinforcements arrive, but he does look like he’s labouring a bit. I think we might need him against someone like Fogerty this weekend, and selfishly, I’d like him to be fresh for the West Coast game, so maybe he’ll play this week and then get a rest against North once Logue has had a game under his belt.
