Tabs is running about 15km a game and out there about 99% of game time in the last two games, that’s a blow up right there if we aren’t careful.

Without Lobb we need two genuine ruckmen, because we have no other talls who can pinch hit in the ruck and I’d suggest Treacy misses out because of this.

Banfield would provide similar forward pressure to Schultz, otherwise the ball will be walked out of the forward line. Sturt is unlucky not to play.

I’d play Sturt in place of Henry 3 touches or Colyer 9 touches last week.

And why not Duman? I'm sure Watson will be good, but our defence looked all at sea against Melbourne, and he certainly looked as lost as anyone. Duman has more experience at AFL level. Let Watson develop a bit more in the WAFL.

You're right, Watson was terrible in Rd 1 while Duman has rarely done much wrong in his performances. He's also got a little more height so will be able to help out our lack of height in the backline.

I'm not enjoying what we're doing with selections so far this season.

Sturt for Colyer, and I would try to get Treacy in as Full Forward, the old fashioned type of full forward who leads out from the square and scares the crap out of anyone who wants to impede him.

I also reckon Freo should get rid of all the game plans and match scenarios, and just let players play on instinct. It's been so long since any side has had to combat that that I reckon none of them would know what to do and we would tear it up.
