Greetings all from the home of Hugh Dixon. Have the little plastic goodie packs gone out yet? I'm going to get anxious if I can't pin my 2021 badge to the Cranky Ceremonial Freo Bucket Hat.

Plus I'm keen to supplement Tassie's only Freo number plates with a 2021 Member sticker. It should be good for at least one local copper to threaten to defect the car :)

We don't want 'em. Macquarie Island is the place to send them, or maybe Heard Island. Besides, Penguin is too close to the Burnie Dockers to have them there.

I’m thinking they aren’t able to send us our membership cards yet as the venue is still under the 50% capacity rule so seating will be a big issue. I guess they are waiting until closer to the start?
I do feel they could send us the pack and maybe a card without the seat number on it?? Don’t know the best way around it.... thoughts oh Wise Ones?

There is an old saying about never wasting a good crisis. I think it’s a reasonable time to explore getting rid of the membership cards and packs, or at least giving members the chance to opt out.

the only thing I valued in the membership pack was the fridge magnet, so my wife would know months ahead of time when I would be out of the house; and you’d be crazy to print those these days. I’ve never really understood the point of lanyards for footy games, for example.

Just give members a voucher to pick up the trinkets of their choosing on game day.

Stand to be corrected .... but Mrs Noddy informs me that we’re not getting cards this year, and entrance to the ground for games will be done through our mobile phones. Says she got an email about it.

Shame about that, I like the cards, for me it’s about the only thing that makes me feel like Im actually a paying member of the club. Now I’ll really feel like a seat renter.
