GWS are expected to match Geelongs offer for Cameron and force a trade, then will potentially end up with two first rounders so they will have currency if they want to play.

They can help us get Jordan Clark out of Geelong.

We must get involved with this trade of Cameron to the Cats in relation to offering Hogan to GWS.

I don’t have any issue with the clubs approach on this. Hogan does need to be put on notice, and if the penny finally drops he will be a great addition to our playing group.
We will shop him around knowing that other clubs won’t offer us enough to get a deal done. With cut list sizes I can’t see clubs being willing to roll the dice on risky players. Hogans manager will see what money is on offer for him, and Jesse will see how close he is to the end of an AFL career.
If we get value I would go hard at Brander from West Coast. I’m going to get shouted down, I would also wait for Jetta to be cut, and grab Clarke. We would have added a professional young key forward and outside pace.

Brandner has shown little to nothing in his slime time though.

Lewey Jetta is a goer if those fools drop him - I could never understand how he would go with them after the Goodes treatment.

I remember seeing Lewey as an underage kid playing with Jeff Farmer in the Indigenous All Star side at a 'friendly' against someone-or-other at Leederville Oval back a few years ago. They were magnificent together on the night, with either Jetta on the forward wing and Jeffrey up forward or visa versa. There was a real synergy between the two...a couple of months later Lewey got drafted by the Eastern Swannies.

Yeah, I would snap Lewey up in a heartbeat - his brother Graham will always be one of my favourite Black Ducks, small defender, a hell of a player, a wonderful bloke.

He'll be 31 next year though. Would you play him or bring on Frederick or Henry?

I would, but that is contrary to those that would select Jordan Clark instead. Cockburn Central is reportedly looking to acquire a speedy winger - which means Freddy and Henry are considered down in the pecking order already.

Jetta would be up against Henry for a spot, so the value in him is contingent on how quickly you see Henry developing.
A horses for courses selection policy over the next couple of seasons, playing Jetta or Henry, depending on match day conditions and opposition may not be a bad thing.

We also have injury prone, much loved veteran Stephen Hill to consider. I don't honestly believe both he and Lewis Jetta can be accommodated on our list.

GWS will have a heap of draft picks
- Compensation for another guy going on F/A (I think pick 9 is expected)
- Compensation for Cameron going on F/A (Pick 10) or trade with Geelong (2 first rounders?)

A friend who listens to Trade Radio said, and Steven Silvani was on.
Silvani,is surprised Hogan is not playing CHB,as he was a brilliant backman in his younger days.He said he saw him playing in that position and was superb.
I know there was talk from JL while Hogan was on the sidelines and getting back to play, and they were trialing him during scratchies, but nothing happened .
Silvany says in his opinion he would be a brilliant CHB.

That's interesting because I was wondering with the backline squeeze on next year whether Alex Pearce could be tried at CHF. He is rarely outmarked and would prove a handful for any defender and I'm sure I remember him being a potential forward option when he was first recruited.

Alex Pearce was a shocking kick at goals when tried there a few years back.
