Speaking of bright futures, it’s the last round coming up, are we finally going to see some of our depth players? Here are some changes I’d like to see:
Lobb out Meek in
Crowden out Valente in
Duman out Thomas in
Aish out North in
Schultz out Henry in
I think the five outs would all know they are safe and it would not hurt our chances of winning too much but we’ll get to see what these guys have to offer.

I'm sick of the future. I'd like to see how our best effort goes against a team with a lot to play for.

I don't think one game is going to make one iota of difference as to whether those mentioned are retained or delisted. I imagine those decisions have already been made and it is just dependant upon list sizes etc.

Longmuir has created a better defence than Lyon ever did, but has an attacking side that plays with skill and flair, even if they are still finding their feet

So much for the genius of Ross Lyon and the Top men running FFC a short while back.

Don't youse remember the day Mundy went with the man-bun? Don't think he had a kick from memory, and that hair tie is floating in a Gold Coast canal.

And there might be a spot for Coniglio on the midfield bench when Mundy retires in two years.

By my count there are about 7 players on the injury list that would be pressing for a spot in the 22, which means there are a bunch of blokes in the current 22 who want to end the season with a good performance under their belt.

Perhaps JLo has better things to worry about, but a win in the last game also lifts Freo's winning percentage above last year's team.

Put the foot to the floor I reckon. Footscray will be a bit nervous with a finals spot on the line. I reckon we'll do them comfortably.

It’s about winning, I would like to see Freo compete against a desperate Bulldogs....we need to treat this game like it was a final.

Never tinker with a winning formula. When you are on a good thing stick to it. No change! will put the wind up the Doggies who will be nervous about losing.
