Great to see him back to his best form
I know he’s not going to be in our best three tonight, but gee’s what a cracker of a game he played. Saved at least three Goals and worked his arse off to run us out of defence.
Just the way I like him.

He played exceptionally well tonight. I think the Ross Lyon hypnosis is starting to wear off.

Matebe. I can’t actually agree here. I think he played his best footy under RoLy when Hamling and Pearce were in the side. With them both out he has had to play more of a lock-down role which has stifled his natural game.
Luke Ryan has had the same conundrum. Both played their best game tonight
Luke has found the transition a little easier.

I posted recently how Wilson hasn’t played well for a very long time. Terrific today.

Luke is still my favourite player.
Although Griffin Logue was making a move before he got injured

Salty, Wilson has never replicated the form he showed at GWS and was recruited for, while at Freo. This game has shown glimpses of that GWS form, due to the fact that we are playing with forward structure now. The same goes for Tabs, who is loving the freedom of being allowed to stay forward and lead at the footy. Once Wilson gets back to his free running best you will see him hitting up Tabs on or inside the forward 50 with regularity.

Let’s hope Wilson has arrived and is here to stay, not just a passing visit.

I would like to see less bombing it long and more precision kicking like we see from S Hill.
