Crowden looked pretty good in those highlights as well. He is obviously in the same situation as Blakely , needing to dislodge a midfielder from the first 22.

Crowden had the look of someone who wants to play in the Bigs. Can't see why he cant play that defensive forward role...and he'd crumb 'em.

Liam has the goal sense of Purple Jesus. Get him in!

The other fellow that looked likely in those highlights is Leno Thomas (?) (48, orange boots) . Looked a good size and did some good things in those highlights.

But - overall - Geelong didn't look like they were too interested...

Essentially, if you want to win AFL league games you can’t have players in the team who haven’t got A grade disposal skills, whether naturally gifted or trained. Crowden, Blakely and anyone else trying to break in would need to be consistently demonstrating this.
