For mine, I would rather have the ball turned over inside our 50 by a bloke who could get the footy, than in the guts by a bloke who couldn't get it.
Blakely would benefit from not having Peaches out there not getting on the end of his disposals, and would also be a good chance of getting the footy back when it comes back into the middle from his poor disposal (oh, I can see this could lead to even lower scoring games, but WTH, lets just try it)
The only game i am likely to see this year was the one against the bloos at Rushton (seated in the stand, 180 degrees from the ballas wing). Connor has that uncanny skill for getting the ball in his hands in good positions backward of the centre, and then his foot skills and hand coordination go AWOL. Hopefully, a standard JLo/Buckley endorsed training routine will get that up to a serviceable level by (my guess) next week.
