I've never really liked the idea of Conca in the backline, but I thought he was a steadying influence on the weekend.
I agree we are a bit one-paced, and I think Wilson or Hill's kicking can make a team look faster based on how well they kick the ball. Colyer is fast, but I'm not sure he's fast with a purpose.
Does anyone know what Wilson's endurance is like? If you could release him up the field a bit you'd love to see him ripping the ball into the forward line from time to time. Wilson kicking to B Hill on the move on the wing has been one of the highlights of the last couple of years. We don't have anyone capable of finding that space at the moment, and our current plan (which was Collingwood's plan) seems to be to kick to the boundary to a contest. Wilson might be wasted doing that. If he could be the next link in that chain and be kicking from the middle of the ground I think our forwards would have an easier time.
