Western Australian Football relies on the two AFL teams deliver more wins than losses each season and each gives a cheque to the WAFC.
Someone highlight one positive change made to the WAFL in the past thirty years except the name change on 1997 to 'Westar Rules' in an attempt to update the local competition for a more sophisticated audience. The only person to benefit was a advertising/printing firm. It was changed back to WAFL in 2000.
