Just remember....that for the last 8 yrs or so...any of our injured / rehabilitating, or, up & coming playrs, were faced with the prospect of " a fair chunk of games for Peel' no matter how well they performed, before they were even a chance of coming up to 1's.
Even though the ones were gettiing belted most weeks, or were carrying some 'underperformers'.
Can't imagine how demoralising that was for many of them. And don't think the state of mind doesn't influence recovery time.
There was too much of that going on in the past 8 years, and about the only bit I agreed with was when they kept Tabs down in the 2's for an extended period.
The 'hope' of many others (''Nyhuis, Collins ..maybe North ...to name but a few) ' had to have been seriously dented.
Harley was looking at 7 or 8 games in the 2's each time, whereas Melbourne see to have a 'lets give this guy a chance' attitude'.
We'll soon find out which way brings the better result, but Melbourne's way is the only way we'll all get to see this bloke on an AFL footy field....
