Our Sabreena Duffy gets the nod as AFLW player of the week. The female Ballas without all the slipping over.

Yes, never missed on the day kicking 4.0 - unlike Joel's sister who kicked like 1 goal 86 behinds.

Sabreena played extremely well - none of those goals was a gimmie. In the short time I have seen her playing live (just last year and this year) she seems to possess an uncanny sense for the goals that is an absolute gift.
The other one you should watch is number 17 Roxy Roux - I watched her play last year for the EF Sharks (last years WAFLW premiers btw) and she is going to be an superstar of the women’s game even though she’s barely turned 18. At only 170cm but with a vertical leap you wouldn’t believe she had to pinch-hit in the forward line ruck for 15 hit-outs as well as kicking her first goal in AFLW off a step then a snap at about 40m... then let fly from outside 50m with a bomb that only just missed. Watch this space. She’s a bloody gun!

Oh and I forgot to mention the game against the Weevils tomorrow. We need to write our own history - and grind them into the dirt of Optus for the first of many times.....Go Dockers!!!

There's a part of me that hopes we fully humiliate and bruise up those turncoats (like Hooker and Gibson) this afternoon. I guess that's un-Christian of me...well no, it isn't actually.

As much as I enjoy our goal scoring, for me the real pleasure will be watching Wrecking Ball Bowers leave scattered corpses from one end of Optus to the other.

That's a totally Christian attitude, I reckon.

Happy are the fully humiliated turncoats for unturned coats they shall find.

They left for coats of many colors, they should have stayed with the Purple Coat.

I hope some of you boys were at the game today. It was awesome! Just loving those girls. Pure toughness.

Who could seriously ask for more. It's not altogether decent to gloat, or to be an altogether gloatingly type of gloater, but I'm going the full gloat on that game.

I think it was the first or second goal from that run and carry down the wing.

Hope the fellas were watching for some tips...

Is Roxy Roux available to play in our backline? Or our forward line for that matter. What a great mark she is. One grab and converts.

Really happy to see Polly’s prediction re WBB (Wrecking Ball Bowers) was right on the money - I was hoping she’d break the AFLW match record of 21 tackles but unfortunately fell just short with 18 game tackles (how many were on Dana Hooker lol) plus 1 ground invader tackle as she was rested for much of the last quarter. Fair enough too. We don’t want Turbo to have a THIRD major knee injury after missing 2017/2018.

Also happy to see Roxy Roux has lived up to my pre-game hype and is well on her way to being a Freo cult figure - her obvious pride in the Freo guernsey after kicking her first goal in the Derby was a moment to be savoured. Love your work girls!

For me Jasmin Stewart, Kiara Bowers, Gemma Houghton and Evie Gooch stood out. Love watching Bowers run with the ball. Gemma Houghton is a superstar.
