I can't speak for people but I expressed the same misgivings about the way Hale was hired.

Yes, it is about being a former EGirl - for me it is. Can't get past that, sorry.

I see Michelle Cowan also got a part time job as a forward coach, at the Eagles AFLW team.

Based on.... god knows how many years, we need a FULL time forward coach.

Must be hard being a Freo forward coach when for a great amount of the game the forwards aren't in the forward line.

Wouldn't let him anywhere near a team meeting. Sorry, I don't trust the grub.

Late to this one. From what I’m hearing only agreed to one day a week. I think his salary may be well short of some of the figures being thrown around.
Before Simpson joined the Eagles their skill level was deplorable. I can only assume that Lecras picked up a few pointers as to what happened to turn their skill level around. I would think that players would pay a little bit of attention to somebody they can relate too.
I don’t have any idea what process was followed in his recruiting. How many people would be willing to relocate to Perth for a one day gig.

One day a week. Specifically to help sort out goal kicking yips. Seems a sensible thing to try, might even bring about an improvement. Don’t think this arrangement was worth all the anguished knickers-twisting about jobs for mates etc.

Polly we got rid of the HR people because they are stiplers for pre employment medicals, well the ones with D&A's in them.
I was thinking about what Shane said, Gees Poor Peter Summich must be old "No mates" then.

Oh well, I'm off to contemplate on what I am going to complain about on Dockerland now. This sneaky Jo Lo coach has covered off on Skills, a forward line, culture shift and fan involvement. AND he has shut the door on the bloody escaped Goat.

The only thing he hasn't done is get some proper Purple into the players outfits, employed the Carr Bros as Tackling coaches. Wasn't there a Freo bloke who kicked 483 career goals that we could of called upon? Be nice to see him mucking around with a Purple shirt back.

It's not just one person. It's a pattern. It's a pattern at Fremantle and the industry as a whole.

It's not only unfair that outsiders have no chance of breaking in, it's bad for the industry. It's bad for innovation and ideas. It's bad for football.

And Peter Sumich spoke out against Ross Lyon's negligence. That doesn't make you many friends in a closed industry like the AFL. Ex-footballers who participated in the rape a woman have more friends than him it would seem.
