I thought this was a new paper we should be reading instead of that other pitiful excuse of a bin liner.

Yeh doesn’t sound like we are very active at the moment.
Maybe ask Geelong for 14, 17 and 23 for pick 7. Then Hill for pick 6 and maybe 37 (if saints can get for Stevens - Geelong trade)
Then Langdon to Melbourne for 22

Thanks gives us 6,14,17,22, 23, 26 and 37

Know that’s a good draft hand....or oz lotto numbers

You forgot pick 83 there - could be a big surprise. Well, probably not.

We've got to get Hill and Langdon done. We need mids, why no action, they should be simple trades?

What’s not to like. Pick 7s draft value is 1644, the combine vale of 14, 17 and 23 is 3001. Geelong are going nowhere near that deal.

It's interesting to speculate on who the clubs with Top 10 picks wll be targeting and if we get pick 6 for Hill this will give us a strong hand. It seems Gold Coast have eyes on the 2 besties from Victoria, Rowell & Anderson while GWS are trying to get a pick in there to ensure they don't miss out on academy player Tom Green, they're after Adelaide's pick 4 in a trade for picks. This leaves Melbourne at 3 and Sydney at 5 before we come into play. Apparently Geelong are trying to trade into the top 10 to target a specific player who I believe to be Luke Jackson to become their future ruckman. Other clubs are also vying for his services including Freo but whether we will be trumped by Sydney and Melbourne remains to be seen. I think he is our main target for obvious reasons so it's important that we keep both of these picks to ensure we get the best possible access to Jackson as well as our next preferred option whether this be Robertson, Sharp, Henry or someone else.

Saints will be holding everything up given they are the flavour of the trade period and everyone wants to go there.

I seriously don't see how they are going to make it all work. Before they can deal for Hill, Jones Ryder and Howard, they will need to offload Bruce and stevens for at least 2nd round picks.

Freo should be holding strong on Hill, one of the best wingman in the comp, saints have to pay overs for him

Give them a chance to get organised, hypen. That win against Geelong really buggered up the schedule.

It's being reported Freo have asked the saints for pick 6 plus next years first pick plus

Saints will have to pay more than just 6 to get this done.

I think they've been inspired by West Coast's stupidity.

If Peter Bell was a police hostage negotiator, there'd be a Royal Commission into the number of deaths.
