Trade rumour on says Freo are interested in Robertson, if we were to trade for him I’d have to seriously reconsider my view of P Bell as footy boss.

The umps have to take some of the blame for any violence in the GWS - Bulldogs game. I couldn't believe what they let GWS get away with. If they'd just blown a few frees and given a couple of 50m penalties there would not have been so much aggro in the game.

I can remember saying that a few times over the years, going back to 2000, but I got howled down.

Bonts got what he deserved after fractured Haines larynx in their previous encounter and went unpunished by MRO Still eligible for Brownlow. Then he does that tackle on Deledio. Toby was in his rights to rough him up, he just went a little far. Admit it, we'd love him in purple. Just like Ballas only times 10 for aggro.

Sorry Gumnut. Toby Greene in purple not only presents a colour conundrum, it would be a step to far for me. He’s a poor man’s Ballas when it comes to being annoying. Greene is simply a prat.

Green had it coming.

All this carp from Bartel about playing on the edge and how they don't want him to change just astounds me.

He's dirty, a grub of a player and 2 weeks in a row he's gone the face gouge and shown complete contempt for the rules and the let off and had a go at a bloke in the ground.

I'd be happy to see him suspended until he changes his ways.....probably never

Not sure that “he had it coming” is a legitimate basis for tribunal decisions, Yeti.

I much prefer the “we don’t care whether or not Greene plays against Brisbane in the Semi, but we sure as hell don’t want him playing against our blokes in the Prelim” approach.

At least that would show some consistency from the AFL.

There was no evidence that he touched Neale’s eye and the matter should have been thrown out.

Once again, Christian got it wrong and he’s the one that should be removed.

damning evidence
Maybe an insufficient force argument.

Yeah, Zorro, he had it coming but yes it is not the basis of a tribunal decision. It's a good basis for the karma express to go over the top though.

Green has pushed too many boundaries and he's looking to hurt people. His type is not needed.

As for Christian getting it wrong, will he should have classified it harder. There is no way it should be dismissed. Green wasn't charged with contact to the eye but with contact to the region of the eyes and the nose is most certainly in the region of the eyes, so there are no grounds to dismiss the charge.
