Chris Mayne is playing a blinder for the Pies....great to watch!

I heard one of their assistant coaches has got him playing his best footy ever.

All jokes aside, he’s a leader we could do with.

Playing really well and well suited to the role he is playing at Collingwood. Good to see because I rate him as a person.
I would still have let him go for what we got. Brad Hill has had a fair year. Even if he leaves we will net a high first round pick minimum, Mayne wouldn’t.

You reckon he'd have had the career he has now if we kept him?

Even a few years ago he struggling at the pies. They stuck with him and used him better.

A coach likely identified what he needed to do to reach the next level and he has. He seems to now play with surety and confidence.

That’s what I’m hoping our next coach is capable of, harnessing underutilized talent we already have and maximizing what we’ve got and gain.

Someone on here said he was not playing well at Collingwood and was not missed at Freo.
Wrong. We got a good deal but lost another good leader.

That coach you're talking about wouldn't happen to go by the name of Justin would he Noddy.
