There was talk of Dixon being handed a debut but it would have been undeserved as his form has been poor at Peel. If he’s out of contract I would imagine that might be it. Ditto Jones. Both Jones and Meek will be gone next year I imagine. Does Colyer have another year on his contract? They should cut him if they can.

The list needs to be gone over very carefully at the end of the year. Far too many list cloggers that are either not good enough to dominate wafl or good players at wafl level but can’t step up.

By the time this game starts PA will know whether it has any chance of finishing 8th. The quandary for PA is that they first have to hope that Adelaide beat WB in Ballarat and second that they don't beat them by too much so that they can just sneak in ahead of the Crows on %. If WB win then both the Crows and Port miss. PA will know this when the game starts and that will affect their attitude to this game I think. As a result I give us a slim chance. Dockers by 1 point - Go Dockers. (Lyon and Rosich are gone so start supporting Freo and the players with all your heart).

As far as the list goes we've already gone down by 4, Sandi, Ballas, Kirsten and Harley. Brad Hill and Ed make 6 and then drop off Scott Jones.
That makes 7 so we don't really have to do much more pruning, if any to fit in a few draft picks, rookies or trades.
Apparently we're in the market for Mason Wood from the Kangas, according to AFL site.
There are few on the list who I think the new coach may like to have a look at for certain roles that were a bit beyond Roscoe's imagination. Like Cox as a defender or Wilson as a wingman.
