One of my favourite Pearl Jam songs which sounded great at the stadium.
But, in typical Freo second rate fashion a song about a woman trapped in a relationship she wants to get out of and may be abusive is not the song to send off two champions.(even if that’s the way they might have felt during their careers at times)
Did anyone in marketing read the lyrics?
Just because the chorus says ‘can’t find a betterman” does not mean the song would be a fitting one.
This is symptomatic of a lot of half-arsed and embarrassing things our club does!

I'm a big Status Quo fan - maybe Down the Dustpipe would have been better.......or Down, Down Deeper and Down!

What I like about Garth Brooks, which is not a lot, but the top comment everything on one of his songs on YouTube is something like 'My ........... died recently. We played this song at the funeral.' He's living big on those funeral parlour residuals.

You mean like people who think "Alison" and "Every Breath You Take" are love songs?
