The "rebuild" is the greatest con ever pulled in world sport. It is the excuse of coaches and admins who have no idea what to do next. That shows in what happens during the "rebuild" Poor recruiting, poor utilization of the skills the players do have, and a flicking off of the blame to those who have left the club in disgust with what is happening.

Comparing us to Melbourne and saying we are tracking alright??? You are kidding. Apply for an assistant coaches job at Freo, if Lyon doesn't get the sack, you are set for life.

It's good news for Melbourne. Last year we were tracking better than Brisbane.

Forgive me ...but can someone tell me the problem of "breaching a contract"??

Its not like we haven't been there before, and, if a bloke is not doing the job, or achieving desired results, well,... "breach the contract" , I say....

A strong club would breach it on the basis of the last few seasons results....

Cletus - no problem breaching a contract, you just have to be prepared to foot the bill.

Lyon’s payout might not be as painful as everyone thinks, if the right replacement is lined up...

Bloody hell Drubbing, I would dream of having as poor a season as Hawthorn are having.
In fact if they beat the slime and Bullies lose, they could make the finals.
Also depends I guess on how much Port thump us by.
