The good:

We had quite a lot of inexperienced players out there today:

Players under 22:

Schulz
Carter
Crowden
Banfield
Logue
Switkowski
Cerra
Brayshaw
Darcy
Duman
Tucker

The bad: Our skills which should be at AFL standard regardless of the age of the team

Just some more bad stuff
The Saints played effectively a man down with the injury to Coffield at the end of the first quarter, and we still couldn't put them away.
Jack Steven who played his first game since Round 3. He looked totally unfit yet still kicked 3 goals (good on him by the way after the problems he has faced)
Same for Hannebury first game after multiple injuries yet he got hold of the ball so many times. Both Hannebury and Stevens should have been out on their feet by the end of the last quarter yet they were the ones who won it for the Saints.
Forget our effort, we simply weren't good enough. Lucky Ross is coaching better than ever though.

The Good: Clearly identified that we have a skills and execution issue
The Bad: Flogger doesn't coach Skills, so we have another season coming up of the same crap to look forward to unless Belly makes some serious changes.

DoD, and Ratten is coaching as bad as ever, given he didn't force Stevens & Hanneberry to run from one end of the ground to the other continually for 100 minutes. No wonder they had petrol in the tank at the end of the game.

So, no one is going to mention Hodor's goal square dexterity with the Sherrin? Two weeks in a row now.

It was what Hodor did Polly, it was the air of authority with which he did it. More to come I expect...

I had thought I had mentioned it enough over the last 6 weeks, Polly, but if you insist. He is really very useful when the footy hits the deck.

It helps to have a bigger arse than Michael Johnson when you bend down

Hmm , shane you really have highlighted the lack of traffic in our goal square with this video. Lots of space and dust and tumbleweeds - nice
