I just want him to get on with writing this bloody story he keeps banging on about. So far I feel like he has written a really encouraging preface that is full of promise and will apparently lead us in to a rollicking story with a plot that is guaranteed to have a fantastic ending. It sounds good enough to be in the running for a Miles Franklin. Unfortunately J.K. RoLy appears to have developed has a severe case of writers block and just wants to sit in his comfy chair and read the preface over and over again in the hope that his publishers keep the faith.

I will let JK Lyon tell 2 stories his own way. The highlighting for emphasis is all my work.

Of course he will - and I agree with all of the above.

But, in my dreams I see us somehow stuffing up the Slime and their GF repeat dreams. Best case scenario, we play them and win and/or injure enough of them that they are stuffed. Acceptable: we engineer a situation where they get done badly and get knocked out early.

Either way, I want us to be the main reason for them failing. That's all.

Which does strike me as odd.

Why is it that wanting to see Freo improve and win a lot more games including having the ultimate success make you a bad supporter just because you can see that change is required to achieve that?

At the same time, why does wanting to maintain the status quo, with it's attendant complete lack of success, make you a good supporter? Particularly when those 'good supporter' spend more time making personal attacks on people who don't share their view on things.

A reasonable person might think it would be the other way around.
