I think all members and supporters have a steak in how we manage our players, particularly with our preponderance of baby cow injuries.

I veal the problems have gone on too long without improvement and perhaps it's time to chops some of the top men running the herd

Hogan's Navicular Stress Fracture
Just in case the paywall is present, the report is surgery and a 16 week recovery/rehab. Same injury he brought with him from Melbourne.

This year keeps delivering. I can’t imagine how the news around Hogan could be worse.
I don’t know how I am going to deal with another prodigy not able to get on the park. Morabito, Bennell and now Hogan.
I am broken and so dispondent right now.

It was initially believed that Jesse had suffered an unrelated sprain in his right foot in our round 14 game against Melbourne, but subsequent scans and further examination by a specialist confirmed a recurrence of the injury to the navicular bone.

A more cynical person might suggest that they had a reasonable idea but didn't want people to get upset, so they buried the news on a Friday night several weeks later.

And Stephen Hill can only have been named as an act of smart arsery.

I'm just going to assume at this stage that our medicos will continue to give the best care to Fyfe.....right up until his arm falls off and then they'll send him to Germany or Switzerland to a bloke who does powdered reindeer feces injections.

It won't work of course, so Fyfe better get sized for a tutu for ballet classes

And when his right arm falls off, Healy, Russell & co will label him a selfish player who never handballs.
