TOPIC: Be there or be square

Meanwhile our season starts on Sunday at the Craypot. We've got young blokes in their 2nd year and others who will be roaring to impress, plus a bunch of others like Tucker who have yet to really excel and maybe the remote possibility that Tabs might even play. I'm excited – yeah I say that every year. But why not. The future is uncertain and anything can happen.
I'll be there and I'll yell and scream if I can. I'll probably give those near me the shits as I commentate and George next to me can be counted on to give the maggots a constant serve.
With Darcy and Hill Conca Brayshaw Fyfe Wilson Langdon Lobb Walters and Ryan tearing it up. Banfield Duman Pearce Hamling Mundy Cera Frodo Colyer maybe Nyhuis Giro Hughes McCarthy or maybe a few surprises and with the promise that our team will get stronger sometime soon – whats not to like?

I'm with you Larkin. To quote someone famous, "We are all lying in the gutter, its just that some of us are looking up at the stars".

Whether Ross is there in 3 months or not, makes no difference to the fact that on Sunday arvo there will be a bunch of young guys giving their all, and I'm going to cheer them on. I'm not waiting until we are winning premierships before I decide which players of ours I really love. I'm starting again this weekend, watching the old guys, getting to know the new guys, and really enjoying it when they play well.

I reckon Brayshaw will be uncovered as an elite midfielder from this, our first game of 2019.

Raglan Matt
Larkin, George always reckoned he was JC, I never expected him to be proved right.
