Nyhuis kicked 4 goals on debut, I think?

We tried that Big Tonk but he kept spilling our only forward.

Mind you, it was only Ballantyne, so it wasn't much of an achievement

Quite simple. Nobble Brown early and win the game 8 goals to 7.

Or here's another idea. Freo constantly get enough inside 50s to win games at home.

So:
i) Keep Lobb at CHF and kick it to him.
ii) Rotate Colyer, Walters & Ballantyne as crumbing small forwards for Lobb.
iii) Use McCarthy as the lead up forward. This will only work if they actually hit him on the chest as he is a confidence player.
iv) Rotate Fyfe, Mundy and Darcy at FF. This will only work if Fyfe & Hodor kick straight (No concern about DM).

If 2 or 3 of Cerra, Brayshaw, Hill, Langdon, Banfield, Conca, Tucker, etc. can chip in with a goal, I think the defence is good enough to hold.

Why be pessemistic before the first bounce? NM aren't unbeatable. Who says they are going to be mistake free and play well? 12 goals will win this game.

Whether it is bad luck or bad management, dunno.
So, talls are down. Ok, so we go to plan B. We go smaller and mobile. Sturt, Shultz, Ballas, Lobb, Switta and Cammac.
Nothing wrong with swinging Cammac through the ruck. Won't win a tap? Who cares...just compete and get into the game. We need one big marking target to be forward...Lobb.
Surely we can come up with another strategy, adapt...surely, yeah?

Suker, deviation from the path of righteousness has not been a feature of this administration. Don't get your hopes up. By the way going on your theory, to be pessimistic, 10 goals is enough to lose the game.

Maybe the club is a little hamstrung it what it can say. Once a player links their behaviour to a mental illness there is only so much they can say.

Matt, it was more of a desperate plea to the club...do something...anything, just don't wallow in misery about injuries. If a club culture is ok then all left standing will fight harder for their injured brothers. That is what I want to see.
Hang on, I just woke up. Damnation!

Lobb fits the bill Noddy. I hope.
But Sturt is who I want to see. Rangy, quick, good hands...great kick.

Agree Suker, but I bet they don't play him. They reckon he's too skinny and needs to bulk up. Couldn't they just take a look at Collingwood and Stephenson? Very similar build ans skills. Played every game and won the rising star.
We don't do that sort of thing. Hope I'm wrong though.

I remember when the ETAF was touted as the best in the world and likely to restrict the occurrence of injuries along with enhancing the recovery process.

How wrong they were.
Nathan: When did you get balls?
Simon: I've always had balls you've just never seen them.
Nathan: That's the gayest thing I've ever heard.
