There are those on here who would have us all believe that everything is going to suddenly change for the better if we are prepared to wait long enough. There are others on here who can see the flawed logic behind that idea.

Those people want the club to change from effort only to skills and effort.

When Simpson over the slime, he made a point of nominating skills as his focus.

Guess who has won a premiership since then and guess who finishes at the bottom of the ladder? When you've all finished guessing, read Duffield's take on the different approaches.

Must be obvious then - but tomorrow Rosich will give him a call and he'll will be writing about how good our training methods are.

Agreed that is obvious.

Hard to understand why it wouldn't be obvious to anybody with a clue. Rosich, of course, wouldn't have noticed anything

I saw the header and thought this might have been about how Fyfe said he did 10km and match sim on Sunday – I assume with many other squad members – on the day they played in Mandurah. And just maybe how this affected the game day output. Maybe I thought some discussion on whether this was a good idea or not – you know stuff like that. Maybe even if it contributed to injuries or the fade out. But instead we got Yeti repeating the same old same old. Yeti, even blind freddie knows what you think – you may or maynot be right. But could you give it a rest?

Anyone know where to get 2018 critical error stats for all teams.

Maybe you could have a go at something like that, Larkin, instead of whinging about what other people are discussing.

If it means anything’s at all in regard to skills, in 2018 our disposal efficiency was 73% and WC 72.8 and they had more ‘clangers’ than us, so they need to get their skills coaching up to speed.

Skills are important, injuries are important, everything is important.

But surely the game plan is the most important. That's why the Slime are winning games.

Is Jetta a better kick than Wilson?
Is Yeo a better midfielder than Fyfe?
Is Kennedy a better forward than Hogan?
Are Vardy & Hickey better than Sandilands & Darcy?

Not really.

Lycett, Duggan, Redden, Venables, Vardy,Sheed, Cole, Masten, Cripps......if that lot can be in a Premiership side anything is possible. It’s like one of those Brownlow winners who no one can ever remember.

Yea Nah fellas, I call BS.

I bang on about the basics.

Skills, Culture, leadership and game plan.

After the Last 3 years I would suggest we need a complete re think of all of those 4 points.

In my experience, the agenda is set from the top and flows down. Our problem could be fixed quickly, but we'd need some sort of Royal commission to be had to point out the bleeding obvious - Just Saying!

Raglan Matt
To all the critics of Yeti, and his banging of the drum.

We would all like to be in a world where Freo are winning flags, and playing beautiful footy. It is not happening, but we are expected to stay quiet and wait. So the apologists for the regime stay quiet, and defend said regime, Yeti and the rest of us say nothing as per the wishes of the apologists, and said regime thinks all is well in Freo.

Things stay the same.

Lyons presser from Tuesday.

"We're a young club, we're an expansion club, 25 years (in the competition), in context we're still building," Lyon said.

"I have no doubt that this club will deliver premierships.
"We've just got to keep our shoulder to the wheel, everyone committed to the big picture, keep bringing in great people, get our selection right, get our strategies right, working in a system and the wheel will turn and we'll deliver.
"It's just a matter of time."

A grab bag of PR clichés that mean nothing, the lazy man's press conference. If his coaching is like that, no wonder the players are confused.

On the podcast they say Meth Coast train skills and we train structure. Yet structure seems to be our biggest concern on here. I’m trying not to take too much out of the JLT games but under pressure our skills look bad. We’ll know by the first few rounds
