Ok, I'll say it - it's been festering with me all year. I don't like it, it just makes the square too cluttered visually. I'm not sure why they would allow the Toyota logo to litter the goal square at both ends of the ground (at every AwFL footy oval) - well, ok I get it - but the greedy bastards at AwFL Central never said anything about it before the season began. Not a word - then, at the beginning of the year, they sneak in a bunch of grass painters to whack on a corporate logo at both ends of the ground. Keep the visual spam around the centre square - you've got it all around the boundary, on the front/back/top/bottom of each club's jumpers (and on the shorts) as well as all over the Sherrin. For me, it turns a focal point of activity in the game into yet another billboard.
PLUS - the logo is pointing the wrong way, it's staring back at the defender (looking inwards).
I think it's time for those Toyota blokes to get under control. I don't like it.
