I feel for all the blokes that are kept out of the game because of injury. It's their livelihood and they don't get the time added onto their careers. Some blokes are just more durable (it seems), but the devil-may-care attitude of others (like Ballantyne) are bloody magnificent with the way they approach the game. Live and learn (I guess), like everyone.
Either way, it's stupid to think club medical/conditioning people are negligent (or 'effing up) - it's their profession and their livelihood as well. Can we get better ones? Not sure, but I reckon everyone is doing the best that they can.
It's in their interest, it's in our interest - I hope all the guys bunged-up at the moment come back to good health as soon as they can.
