Heading to Melbourne this arvo, really not looking forward to the flight which will undoubtedly be filled with slime supporters...

As for the GF, think I much rather watch my wife shop than watch the game, even if my mate is trying to convince me to watch it at a pub with me...given the choice, I may have to go against every instinct within me and support the Weagles for the first time, as my hatred for the scumbag Mitchell has surpassed my distaste for all things Slime for the moment...

I was genuinely uninterested in the outcome given the 2 teams involved.
Flew to Melbourne anyway on tickets booked 10 months ago.
Was looking forward to a nice weekend sampling the non football delights of Melb. right up until just before landing when the air crew decided to play the slime song over the PA
I hope they suffer the most humiliating defeat in GF history.

Ran into a supporter wearing a Hawks jumper this morning in Myaree. I told him that his team had the weight of responsibility on their shoulders to not lose to the slime. I emphasised to him that if the Hawks didn't win how much more arrogant and unbearable slime supporters would become.
