Yeah really interesting piece. I don't see a big slide from where we are but it will need to be managed carefully this trade period. Trade targets aside, I hope we are searching pretty hard for any ready made forwards playing in the other three state leagues that could cut it. I can't really think of any in the wafl at the moment.
Apeness will be feeling the pressure in the off season.

I too would like to think that our Pav goes around again.
Someone at Freo needs to do a lot of searching to find the best fit into the forward structure to allow Pav to kick the goals we need.
Whether McCarthy comes or not we can't sit and wait.
Let's hope Bond and Co can bring us an interesting forward line for 2016.

Yes, it looks like he has been following DL very closely. He presents some very well thought out arguments, and his stats on the Hawks goalkicking, scoring shots and accuracy are something that the rest of the footy media have overlooked.

The comments on the retiring players, and the age of the rest of the squad seem to indicate not that the "Premiership window" is closing rapidly, but that the best is still to come. IF Freo get McCarthy, Bennell and/ or a couple of similar players then his prediction could be on the money.
