How about a list of blokes that have either stagnated or gone backwards since 2013? IMHO, that would include:
Clarke
'Gu
Mayne
C.Pearce
Duffield
Dawson
Barlow
Of those, Dawson is Roly's love child so he won't be going anywhere (that Ross doesn't), Duffield is too old, same could be said for the 'Gu. If need be, trade out any of these if it will bring in the likes of McCarthy and Bennell and throw a bag of money at Leuenberger. As I can't see Luke playing on, we need to have at least 2 of Dawson, Johnno and Silvagni on the park to allow blokes like A.Pearce and T.Smith to develop around them.
Brady Grey, Weller, Blakely and Langdon all need sustained exposure at the elite level to develop.
Not because of Friday night, but if someone wants the likes of Sheridan, Crozier, Duffy that will help bring in the aforementioned talent, then do it.
Under no circumstances should we let Lachie of the Neale variety go, he is a jet and someone we can build a midfield around for the next decade.
I hope the club can land Bennell and we have a Walter's like redemption story and not a Josh Simpson like tale!
