Hi. Just watched my DVD (yes, some people still use them) of the last time we played the Hawks at Subi. They had no Cyril or Roughy, we had no Ballas or Luke Mc. A few other minor differences, but nothing significant. Hawks were playing for top spot.
After a slow start with us struggling to get the ball out of our back half, Hawks got up by a couple of goals. From that point on, our game was pressure, pressure, pressure. The normally skilful Hawks were turning the ball over and we were capitalising...a must for tonight.
Tabs kicked a goal, and did some really good stuff, both with and without the ball. Zac Clarke looked lost, Zac D looked good (yes, it happens). It was Son Son's first game back after a long injury, and Michael Johnson had more tape than The Mummy and looked really really sore, but still got close to 30 possessions. Pav kicked 4 goals and was dynamic. Mundy was the clearance king and Fyfe was...well...Fyfe
It made me feel really confident about tonight...GO FREO!
