I don't get this idea that Crowley has to play like a thug to beat Mitchell. At his best he plays within the rules and beats his opponent by doing his head in (psychologically that is). Just look at how he had Harvey believing that he was pinched 300 times when he didn't even touch him. I think it's worth playing Crowls even if he's not match fit, and, as suggested earlier, sub him out and replace him with De Boer or Suban, who can finish the job.

Yes Morgan he would have. That was a stand someone in the Freo team needed to take, and Freo need to take a stand against the Hawks. It doesn't need to be outside the rules, and that is why I think Crowls is important, he can do it without giving frees away, so can Clancee and Mzungu so we have some options.

Taking Mitchell out of the game in whatever way gets rid of their point guard, he directs play and gets them through the maelstrom of bodies around the pill.

Also, if we can make tackles stick, not these half ardse attempts to allow the handball out, we'll go a long way to beating the fudge tarts.

Ryan hasn't really earnt the right to play in the 2015 Grand Final, but he has earnt the right to play in the 2015 Prelim Final and break a few heads.

That is essentially his and Lyon's choice. If Ryan plays and doesn't get suspended the following week, he won't have done his job properly.

If I were Ross, I'd say to Ryan, take out at least one of Mitchell, Hodge, Lewis or Gibson and although you'll be rubbed out, I'll give you the chance to play your 200th game in 2016.

Agreed. He doesn't need to do anything silly, just stick to his tag like **** on a blanket. If it's Mitchell or Hodge, sooner or later they will snap and do something stupid.

We also tend to forget that Creepy is a handy mark and has been known to kick a goal or two.

So what would you like Ryan to do when Mitchell knees Fyfe again, Gibson gives a cheap shot to Mayne off the ball or Hodge slams Mikey's head into the goalpost? Stand there and applaud?

The Carr Bros beat up Cousins and Kerr. We also won the game.

Do it to them before they do it to us. Ryan can also hold Mitchell to <10 disposals at the same time.
