The Swans can still cause enough dramas with Tippett and Reid. Plenty of fire power there and in their midfield - still have to restrict the supply and kick a few of our own.

Yep Im happy he is out but they shouldn't have held provided a media release stating it being a mental health issue. Rightly or wrongly that has all sorts of connotations attached to it and causes too much public and media speculation. They could have just said it was illness/ recurring back injury

Rightly or Wrongly there's a stigma attached to people with mental health issues. So for a club to release this info, it'll certainly create a lot of discussion.

Very sorry to hear Buddy's having some issues, and that he won't make the trip home this weekend.

Was really looking forward to the second installment of the Luke 'n' Lance show this weekend. Thought their battle in Round 4 ranked alongside Fyfe v Dangerfield as the mano a mano contest of the season.

Hope he gets himself back on track in time to take the Hawks down in the PF.

Terrible news that this great WA born & raised footy player has succumbed to mental demons. Reading between the lines of what John Longmire said in the press release, it doesn't look good for the rest of the finals, either. I hope there is to be no disrespectful cheering or jeering about this particular issue.
