Unless Dan Hanneberry plays like a chook this weekend, the AFLCA MVP award is his for the taking.
As of Round 22 he has 94 votes, trailing Nat Fyfe by 6.
Perhaps Sydney might rest him in preparation for the finals?
This is also a good pointer to the over-reliance of the media on peddling the line that Fyfe has the Brownlow wrapped up.

If last year was any indication, Robbie Gray won the AFLCA award and didn't give a yelp at the Brownlow. I think it'll be between Fyfe & Priddis again, with the same scenario of Fyfey missing 4 games but this time eligible for the medal and has it around his neck at the end of the count. I think the kid will be very nervous.
