I've followed a few commentators on Monday, and I guess the Tuesday press (especially in Melbourne) will join in.
The general line seems to be 'its bad for the integrity of the game, but if we were Freo we'd do the same thing' and 'at least Ross signalled his intentions up front'.
Example: on Talking Footy on Monday night Tim Watson was worried about the commentators, the sponsors, the advertisers, Port Adelaide losing gate takings etc etc.
It wouldn't be too hard to see a reversal of attitude if the fixturing meant that every Melbourne team travelled West every second week. And they talk about 'the integrity' of the game!
The really amusing bit is that not a single commentator allowed the possibility (recognised on this site at least) that Freo's B team might actually win the game!
